Ugh I’m so ashamed this month… 2 books?! And I read both within the space of a week. I mean there are real excuses (revision, exams, other college stuff) but I still feel like I could have read at least one novel in the 3 weeks of June where I only read a couple of chapters of one or two books. Next month will definitely be better because its finally summer! But for now, the 2 books I read this month:
The Sleeping Prince by Melinda Salisbury
The first time I think I have ever preferred a sequel to the first book in a series, The Sleeping Prince was creative and exciting and mysterious and clever and everything I love in a book. I sped through it and would definitely recommend reading it! Can’t wait for the next (final?) novel in the series!
Dangerous Boys by Abigail Haas
This book had me hooked from literally the first page. Again, I sped through it and was so shocked at the many twists and turns in this story. Abigail Haas must be some type of wizard; I would love to be inside her head when she writes her books! I still can’t decide how I feel about the end of the book – it’s chilling and unexpected – and the random order of chapters makes the guessing so much fun!
